SOLD: Pilot Short – Green

SOLD!

I have another 1960’s Pilot Short Pen today.  This one is green and is in good condition.  Pilot Shorts are small pens that can extend.  The cap is made of stainless steel.  The body is stainless and plastic (resin?).  They are very fun pens to own.

Here it is:

This pen is in good condition.  There are two blemishes.  One is a hairline crack on the lower part of the grip section.  It is on the left hand side.  It can be seen in the photos above.  It does not seem to affect the performance of the pen.  I do not expect there to be any problems in the future with this pen.  The second blemish is a small ding on the nib.  The two problems combined lead me to believe that the pen was dropped.  I used it as an EDC for 3 weeks and it did not leak or have any problems with writing.  I never got ink on my hands.

The nib is 14k.  It is marked internally.  The date code is T367 or Tokyo – March 1967.  The size is not marked on the nib but it writes like a F or Fine.

I am asking ¥1,800 for this pen (currently around $18.30).  That includes the pen, a new CON-20 and two ink cartridges.

You need to pay shipping.  If you spend at least ¥5,000, I will pay half the shipping.  If you spend at least ¥10,000, I will pay shipping.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment.

If you would like to buy this pen, please leave a comment or send mail to tomattarashinu@gmail.com.

Thanks!
