What is the difference between the 742 and the 743?  There are very noticeable differences.  The biggest one is that the pen is slightly longer.  The diameter feels about the same to my hand.  I have not measured it though.  The Trim rings on the 743 are much wider.  The engravings on the cap band are painted in on the 743 which really makes the engravings stand out.

The other big difference is the nib.  The 742 has a #10 nib.  The 743 has a #15 nib.  That means that the nib is larger.  It looks a lot nicer when writing.

This pen has a Waverly nib.  The front of the nib curves up slightly.  It is also said that the tipping on this pen is a bit larger.  The link width is M or Medium.  The purpose of this nib is that it can be used at many angles allowing unique grips.  (Link 1) (Link 2) (Link 3)

This pen is in excellent condition.  It is like new.  It writes smoothly and leaves amazing shading on the page.  It is similar to the Pelikan M400 nib I loved so much.

I am asking ¥16,900 (currently around $165 USD) for this pen.  That includes the pen, a CON-70 and 4 iroshizuku cartridges.

Shipping is free.
